ReadySetConvert (“we”, “us”) runs the free image tools at readysetconvert.com. This policy explains what happens to your files and what little information we collect.
The short version
- Your images are processed entirely inside your own browser. They are never uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see them.
- Our tools set no cookies and do not track you.
- We count how many files each tool converts per day (just the tool name and a number) so we know which tools are useful.
Your files
When you use a converter, compressor, resizer or editor on this site, the work happens on your device using your browser. Your images, their names and their contents are never sent to us or to anyone else. When you close or reload the page, the files are gone from the page.
Information we collect
- Usage counts. When a tool finishes converting files, your browser sends us the name of the tool and the number of files converted. We store only a daily total per tool. We do not store your IP address, file names, file contents or any identifier with these counts.
- Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic request information (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept by the host for a limited time and are not used to identify visitors.
- Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send, and use it only to reply.
Cookies
Our tool pages do not set cookies. WordPress sets cookies only for site administrators who log in. If we add advertising or analytics in the future, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Third parties
The site is hosted by Namecheap. We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone.
Children
This site is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Because your files never reach us, we hold no personal data from your use of the tools. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, or you have any other privacy question, contact us and we will respond promptly.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
