Why watermark your photos?
A watermark shows who owns an image, discourages people from reusing it without permission, and promotes your brand every time the photo is shared. Photographers, online sellers, real-estate agents and creators watermark product photos, listings and portfolios.
JPG (also called JPEG) is the most widely used photo format. It uses lossy compression to keep files small and works everywhere, but it does not support transparency and loses a little quality every time it is re-saved.
PNG is a lossless format that keeps every pixel exactly and supports transparent backgrounds. It is ideal for logos, icons, screenshots and graphics, but photos saved as PNG are often very large.
WebP is a modern image format created by Google. It supports both lossy and lossless compression plus transparency, and typically produces files 25–35% smaller than JPG at the same visual quality. All modern browsers support it.

Which watermark position is hardest to remove?
